24 HR Hotline

For over 35 years, our 24-hour hotline has served as a source of support for Butler County residents. The 24 HR Hotline is available to assist callers who are facing a wide variety of concerns.
Our services provide callers with help concerning:

The 24 HR Hotline consultants provide support and referrals for community members who are dealing with mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders or schizophrenia. Overall, the Hotline serves as a safety net for our community. We help connect people to the resources they need, and offer a listening ear to people who are in crisis or in need of support.

The 24 HR Hotline is staffed by a licensed Director and a team of “paraprofessional” volunteers who are trained to:

The 24 HR Hotline accepts calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Trained crisis consultants provide survivors with confidential crisis intervention services, and information and referrals to appropriate community resources. The 24 HR Hotline is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) as a Behavioral Health Hotline. The Hotline is one of few mental health programs that have received accreditation from the American Association of Suicidology, which sets the highest standards for crisis centers in the United States.

The 24 HR Hotline also answers calls for 1-800-SUICIDE as well as 1-800-273-TALK (the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).
