Every hour of the day, someone in Butler County needs essential services – from finding adequate childcare to finding a local emergency food pantry, a physician or a clothing closet. Faced with a dramatic increase in the number of agencies and help-lines, people often don’t know where to turn. In many cases, they end up going without these necessary services because they don’t know where to start. 2•1•1- helps people find and give help for free.

The mission of 2•1•1 is to build America's capacity to strengthen the way people access help and engage in civic life.

Butler County 2•1•1 emerged in the county in 2003 in an effort to connect citizens to several community services.
